Cabbagetown is located about 5 minutes
east of downtown Atlanta. This small community is unique and
offers a relaxed vibe from the residents. Cabbagetown is well
known for the Cotton Mill Lofts, which dates back to late 1800's.
In the heart of Cabbagetown you will find a handful of well known
restaurants including
Agave Restaurant and
Carroll Street Cafe.
Known for their shotgun homes, Cabbagetown has increased in popularity
over the last few years. Once a year they also hold the Chomp N
Stomp festival, which is the annual chili cook off and bluegrass
festival.
Don't be thrown off when you go
through the Krog Tunnel either when you go to Cabbagetown. This
is the only area in Atlanta that allows people to do graffiti.
Most of the graffiti is actually done by local Artists where they can
showcase their talent.
